About Kristen

Raised in Esperance, Western Australia, Kristen has spent years travelling the country and the world surfing, diving and fishing. Her love and passion for the ocean was the driving force for her career in marine science.

As a research scientist, Kristen specializing in fish endocrinology and completed her studies at the National Centre for Marine Conservation and Resource Sustainability at the University of Tasmania, Australia.

 

She has worked in the fish industry for over 10 years, conducting research and working with both government and commercial fisheries.
